Georgia law provides the spouse and surviving minor children of a deceased individual with important rights.

Known as "year's support," our law allows significant tax, debt, and inheritance advantages to such survivors.

But timely action is necessary to protect your rights. If you are the surviving spouse (or minor child) of a recently lost loved one, use the resources in this website to help ensure you gain the advantages the law permits.
